Yuzu peel

Yuzu is a citrus fruit and plant originating in East Asia. It is believed to be a hybrid of sour mandarin and lchang papeda and is widely used in Japanese cuisine.

I first tasted yuzu in Japan and have loved it since! I found this yuzu peel in Singapore for just SGD2 a packet! When I saw it at the store, I was not sure if it would taste good. So I actually ripped open one packet there and then (and yes, without paying for it first), and tried it. Then I swept the whole shelf clean! There was only 6 packets left lah!

And yes, in case you are wondering, I did pay for all 6 packets, including the one I ripped open, at the cashier. I am a happy baby that day!
